Tis’ the season for jump starting batteries, and if you’re not careful to do it correctly bad things can happen! Remember, for single batteries always go positive to positive and negative to negative. It’s with multiple batteries that things can get a little tricky. There are always concerns with how you should hook up your jumper leads to multiple batteries, whether you are jumping lawnmowers, boats or heavy mining equipment. Please refer to the diagram attached to show which way the cables would be placed on the batteries to make 12v or 24v. Hooking up the cables incorrectly could cause tremendous damage to the batteries and even physical harm to you! Safety first!
